The Walthers model Q5 is around $800, more then Glock model, and the hassle in NJ of selling a handgun and then re-filing for a permit to buy another, I chose to send my slide out to a fellow in NC that machines PPQs slide as not everyone wants to compared to a Glock there are many choices to have slide cut. Living in NJ its a hassle getting a pistol, so question was to sell PPQ M2 and buy PPQ Match Q5 that has a machined slide from the factory, or having my current slide machined. ![]() I do understand what you're going through as I own a PPQ M2 9mm 5", now since I'm sold on the red dot I did not enjoy shooting the ppq as much, my Glock became the pistol of choice. I love my Glock 19 MOS, I'm sold on red dot 100%.
